Terms of Service

Services

We provide residential cleaning services in Barrie and surrounding Simcoe County communities, including routine, deep, move-in, move-out, and related cleaning services as described on our website or confirmed at booking.

Service scope is based on the cleaning type selected, our published checklist, and any special instructions agreed to in advance.

Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide accurate contact information, a correct service address, and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time, including entry instructions, parking details, and any gate or alarm codes needed.

If our team cannot access the home at the scheduled time, the visit may be treated as a missed appointment and subject to our cancellation policy.

Pricing and Payment

Quotes and pricing are based on the information you provide, including home size, condition, and requested service level. If a property requires significantly more time or effort than reasonably expected, we may adjust pricing after notifying you and obtaining approval before continuing.

Payment terms are confirmed at booking. Late, declined, or unpaid balances may result in suspension of future services.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Please provide as much notice as possible when rescheduling or cancelling so we can adjust our schedule accordingly.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with an included task completed according to our checklist, notify us within our stated re-clean window so we can review the concern and arrange corrective action when appropriate.

Requests related to tasks outside the agreed scope, or reported after the allowed timeframe, may not qualify for a re-clean or adjustment.

Your Property and Belongings

We take care while working in your home, but we ask that you secure valuables, fragile items, and important documents before service. Please inform us of fragile surfaces, specialty materials, or areas that require special handling.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or issues caused by defective fixtures, unstable surfaces, or items not disclosed before cleaning.

Excluded Services and Safety Limits

For health, safety, and liability reasons, we do not perform certain tasks, including biohazard cleanup, hoarding situations, pest infestations, work requiring ladders beyond our safety limits, and cleaning of items or areas we determine to be unsafe.

We reserve the right to stop or refuse service if conditions at the property create an unsafe environment for our team.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maid Fresh House Cleaning Barrie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of this website.

Our total liability for any claim related to a specific service is limited to the amount paid for that service, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
